Silent Witness

Silent Witness is a Sutton Police Department program designed to provide members of the community with an anonymous means of communicating with police. Citizens who may have direct or indirect knowledge of criminal activity are encouraged to participate. The Police department also welcomes any information regarding suspicious people, vehicles, or unusual activity in their area. 

The Sutton Police Department reminds you that we need your assistance to suppress crime in our community. Any support you can provide may mean the difference between an apprehended suspect or your neighbor being victimized.

Make sure to include the following: 

         Suspect Description

(ex. White male, 5’10”, 175 lbs, blue eyes, blond hair, with a mustache)

       Vehicle Description

(ex. 1988-1990 Brown Ford Pick Up truck MA reg 1234AB with ladder rack)

        Time & Location of Activity

(ex. Suspect seen parked at the Manchaug boat ramp at 12:00 a.m. on Friday night 07-01-05)

Type of Activity

(ex. Suspect parked for a while then ran to nearby house and looked in rear window)
